Wylägeri I (TMax 400)
Few traditions invite as broad a response as the so called fifth season, that sees many regions of (especially central) Switzerland engage into wildly colorful carnival celebrations. In Schwyz, Steinen and Unterägeri, these festivities have been animated by so called Nüsseler, a set of century old figures that perform a specific dance to the rhythm of the drums that follow them everywhere, all while distributing oranges and the bread loafs they carry on broomsticks.
