Interlaken
Set between two picturesque lakes in the very heart of Switzerland, Interlaken has long been the gate to some of the Alps’ most iconic destinations. Since the early days of the mountain railroad in the mid 19th century, it has been a hub for journeys of all kinds and origins. Its majestic landmarks from the Belle Époque of traveling look back onto a long and storied past. Over the course of their existence, they have hosted a great number of historic figures, not least, the country's entire military leadership for the duration of the Second World War.
