Urnäsch IV (Blattendürren; HP5)
Towns in Appenzell are traditionally not continuous urbanized spaces, but rather a collection of numerous individual farms and estates, peppered across vast swaths of mountain landscape and often communicating by little more than a distant line of sight. The outer districts of Urnäsch are thus fairly remote areas and precisely where the Schuppel assemble to begin their Schtrech in the early hours of the old New Year's Eve (January 13th).
