As the days get longer throughout the summer months, central Zurich flourishes under an evermore intensive sun, glistening in all of its opulence. Everyone is out. A powerful heat radiates from the pavement to the tune of the many loud engines that rove over it at a leisurely pace. The sidewalks and terraces are bustling with colorful summer attire. But the lightness of the cloth can't conceal the heavy burden resting on its bearers: They came to see and be seen and they must look their very best among the deep dark shadows casted by the city’s stern sandstone architecture.
